Soulciety is a non-profit organization that empowers at-risk youth to find their purpose through creativity, leadership, and community. As a board member, Lindsey provided artistic mentorship for Unincorporated, a site-specific performance, as well as governance and guidance for the organization as a whole.

Prison University Project
Volunteer Instructor, 2011-2012

The Prison University Project at San Quentin State Prison, run through Patten University in Oakland, CA, is the only degree-granting program in California for inmates. Students take required core course and electives in order to earn their Associate’s Degree.

Interviewed applicants to Princeton University. Helped students understand Princeton’s values, opportunities, and challenges, and helped Princeton understand the strengths and concerns of its applicants.

Project Homeless Connect
Volunteer, 2006-2010

Project Homeless Connect links the most vulnerable San Franciscans to vital resources throughout the city. Through this project, participants access services including medical, dental and vision care, and employment assistance.
